Creating a brighter tomorrow for SMEs and a promising future for the Republic of Korea

KBIZ was established in 1962 under the Republic of Korea’s first policy to nurture SMEs in representing the rights and interests of the 7.29 million SMEs,improve their economic status, and to promote a healthy development of the national economy.KBIZ has shared the lives and hopes of SMEs, which account for 99% of all businesses and are responsible for 81% of all employees.Moreover, it made history in the Republic of Korea’s economic development by creating a fair economic environment for the growth and development of SMEs and by strengthening the status of SMEs.SMEs and small business owners need our strong support.Therefore, KBIZ has produced an economic environment where SMEs can focus on their management,while providing mutual growth of large, medium, and small enterprises, advocating economic democratization, advancing the delivery price linkage system,improving the corporate succession system, and promoting the cooperative-oriented SME sales policies.Furthermore, improvements have been made for SMEs’ management stability, through various support mechanisms found in the Republic of Korea SME Conference,the KBIZ Love Sharing Foundation to expand social contribution of SMEs, and the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid Association,which is the social safety net for small businesses and owners.KBIZ will be a beacon for “a brighter tomorrow for SMEs” with policies and projects that are helpful in the field by supporting job creations andthe practice of social responsibilities that is loved by the people, and makes for a “promising future of the Republic of Korea.
