Privacy Policy of Global FM Co., Ltd.

Global FM Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes and discloses the following privacy policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related grievances promptly and smoothly in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Article 1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures will be implemented, such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Membership registration and management on the website Personal information is processed for the purpose of confirming the intention to join, identifying and authenticating individuals for membership service provision, maintaining and managing membership qualifications, preventing fraudulent use of services, verifying consent from legal representatives when processing personal information of children under 14, and for various notifications and grievance handling.
Provision of goods or services Personal information is processed for the purpose of delivering goods, providing services, sending contracts and invoices, providing content, offering customized services, verifying identity, verifying age, processing payments and settlements, and collecting debts.
Handling consultation tasks Personal information is processed for the purpose of verifying the identity of consultation applicants, confirming consultation content, contacting and notifying for verification investigations, and notifying processing results.
Article 2. Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information

The Company processes and retains personal information within the period agreed upon when collecting personal information from data subjects or within the period specified by law.
The processing and retention periods for each personal information are as follows:
Membership registration and management on the website: Until withdrawal from the Company's website. However, in the following cases, until the relevant reason is resolved:
If an investigation or inquiry is ongoing due to a violation of related laws, until the investigation or inquiry is concluded.
If there are remaining obligations or debts resulting from the use of the website, until the settlement of such obligations or debts.
Provision of goods or services: Until the completion of supply of goods/services and payment/settlement. However, in the following cases, until the end of the specified period:
Records related to transactions, such as display/advertisement, contract details, and performance, as per the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.
Records on display/advertisement: 6 months
Records on contracts or withdrawal of offers, payment, supply of goods, etc.: 5 years
Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years
Retention of communication fact confirmation data under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act
Subscriber telecommunications date/time, start/end time, counterpart subscriber number, usage frequency, originating base station location tracking data: 1 year
Computer communication, internet log data, access location tracking data: 3 months
Methods of collecting personal information: Homepage (membership registration and service application screen), written forms
Article 3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company processes personal information within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information) and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under Article 17 and Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as with the consent of the data subject or special provisions of the law.

Purpose of use: Joint organization of events such as exhibitions and consultations, business partnership
Provided personal information: Name, address, phone number, email address, company name, company address
Retention and use period: Transaction period for work related to participation in events such as exhibitions and consultations (1 year)
KOTRA (Business Partner)
Recipient: Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA)
Purpose of use: Support for companies participating in government-funded events such as exhibitions and consultations
Provided personal information: Name, address, phone number, email address, company name, company address
Retention and use period: Work related to participation and budget support for companies participating in government-funded events such as exhibitions and consultations (1 year)
KBIZ (Business Partner Organization)
Recipient: Korea Federation of SMEs (KBIZ)
Purpose of use: Support for companies participating in government-funded events such as exhibitions and consultations
Provided personal information: Name, address, phone number, email address, company name, company address
Retention and use period: Work related to participation and budget support for companies participating in government-funded events such as exhibitions and consultations (1 year)
The CBM (Business Partner)
Recipient: The CBM
Purpose of use: Partnership for product and sample transportation for companies participating in events such as exhibitions and consultations
Provided personal information: Name, address, phone number, email address, company name, company address
Retention and use period: Product and sample transportation work period for companies participating in events such as exhibitions and consultations (1 year)
Inha Event Co., Ltd. (Business Partner)
Recipient: Inha Event Co., Ltd.
Purpose of use: Verification of participants and reservation of business trips for companies participating in events such as exhibitions and consultations
Trade Expo (Business Partner)
Recipient: Trade Expo
Purpose of use: Partnership for joint organization of events such as exhibitions and consultations, transportation work partnership
Provided personal information: Name, address, phone number, email address, company name, company address
Retention and use period: Transaction period for work related to participation in events such as exhibitions and consultations (1 year)

Article 4 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)

The Company entrusts the following personal information processing tasks to facilitate smooth handling of personal information tasks.
Operation of event consultation centers such as exhibitions and consultations
Entrusted party: Trade Expo
Content of entrusted tasks: Consultation and application tasks for participation of companies in events such as exhibitions and consultations, and providing information on the holding of such events.
Operation of transportation consultation centers
Entrusted party: The CBM
Content of entrusted tasks: Consultation and transportation reservation tasks for product and sample transportation for companies participating in events such as exhibitions and consultations.
Operation of travel consultation centers
Entrusted party: Inha Event Co., Ltd.
Content of entrusted tasks: Verification of participant information and travel reservation tasks for companies participating in events such as exhibitions and consultations.
Sending emails, text messages, and notification messages
Entrusted party: Samjeong Data Service Co., Ltd.
Content of entrusted tasks: Sending emails, text messages, notification messages, etc., regarding event information and notifications from the Company for events such as exhibitions and consultations.
When entering into an entrustment contract, the Company specifies in documents such as contracts the prohibition of personal information processing for purposes other than the performance of entrusted tasks, technical and administrative protection measures, restrictions on re-entrustment, management and supervision of the entrusted party, compensation for damages, etc., in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, and supervises the entrusted party to ensure safe processing of personal information.
If the content of entrusted tasks or the entrusted party changes, we will disclose it without delay through this privacy policy.
Article 5 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives and Methods of Exercising Them)

Data subjects may exercise their rights to request access, correction, deletion, and suspension of processing of personal information at any time against the Company.
The exercise of rights under paragraph 1 can be carried out through written, electronic mail, fax, etc., in accordance with Article 41, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and the Company will take action without delay.
The exercise of rights under paragraph 1 can be performed through a legal representative of the data subject or a delegated person. In this case, a power of attorney in accordance with Form No. 11 of the "Notice on the Method of Processing Personal Information (No. 2020-7)" must be submitted.
Requests for access to personal information and suspension of processing may be restricted under Articles 35, Paragraph 4 and 37, Paragraph 2 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
Requests for correction and deletion of personal information cannot be made if the personal information is specified as a collection target in other laws.
The Company verifies whether the person requesting access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing is the data subject or a legitimate representative.
Article 6 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

Membership registration and management on the website
Required items: Name, date of birth, ID, password, address, phone number, email address
Optional items: Company name, gender, marital status, home phone number, home address, interested overseas markets
Provision of goods or services
Required items: Name, date of birth, ID, password, address, phone number, email address, credit card number, bank account information
Optional items: Areas of interest, past purchase history, company information, product information, company logo and product images
During the use of internet services, the following personal information items may be automatically generated and collected:
IP address, cookies, MAC address, service usage records, visit records
Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)

The Company destroys personal information without delay when the retention period has expired, the processing purpose has been achieved, or when personal information is no longer necessary.
If the retention period agreed upon with the data subject has expired or the processing purpose has been achieved, but the personal information must be retained according to other laws, the personal information is moved to a separate database (DB) or stored in a different location.

The procedure and method of destroying personal information are as follows:
Destruction procedure The Company selects the personal information for which the reason for destruction has occurred, obtains approval from the Company's personal information protection officer, and destroys the personal information.
Destruction method The Company destroys personal information recorded and stored in electronic file format so that the records cannot be reproduced, and personal information recorded and stored in paper documents is shredded or incinerated.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure the Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:

Administrative measures: Establishment and implementation of internal management plans, regular employee training, etc.
Technical measures: Management of access rights to personal information processing systems, installation of access control systems, encryption of unique identification information, installation of security programs
Physical measures: Access control to computer rooms, data storage rooms, etc.
Article 9 (Matters Concerning the Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices)

The Company uses 'cookies' that store and retrieve usage information from time to time to provide individualized customized services to users.

Article 11 (Criteria for Judging Additional Use and Provision)
The Company may additionally use or provide personal information without the consent of the data subject by considering the matters stipulated in Article 14-2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act in accordance with Article 15, Paragraph 3 and Article 17, Paragraph 4 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
In this regard, the Company has considered the following matters to additionally use or provide personal information without the consent of the data subject:

Whether the purpose of additional use or provision of personal information is related to the original collection purpose
Whether there is predictability of additional use or provision in light of the circumstances of personal information collection or processing practices
Whether the additional use or provision of personal information unfairly infringes on the interests of the data subject
Whether necessary measures to ensure safety, such as pseudonymization or encryption, have been taken
Article 12 (Methods of Remedy for Infringement of Rights and Interests) Data subjects may apply for dispute resolution or consultation to the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee, the Korea Internet & Security Agency's Personal Information Infringement Report Center, etc., to seek remedies for personal information infringement. Article 13 (Changes to the Privacy Policy) This privacy policy has been in effect since December 31, 2020.
